The mission of the Shelby County Law Enforcement Chaplains Association is to support the operations of Shelby County law enforcement by ministering to the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of active and retired law enforcement employees and their families. 

The Shelby County Law Enforcement Chaplains Association will accomplish this by providing non-denominational guidance, counseling, and other assistance as needed or requested.  This mission shall be accomplished prayerfully, with compassion and confidentiality, by establishing and building relationships with those they serve, and by demonstrating a well-anchored spiritual, ethical and moral lifestyle. 

The Shelby County Law Enforcement Chaplains Association may also provide ministry and service to other public service entities, businesses, residents, and visitors as called upon to do so.
