2017 Chaplain's Academy

The 2017 Chaplain's Academy will be held from Monday, April 24th through April 26th. The Academy will offer the 3-day Basic track for those who are new to chaplaincy, those who have very little chaplaincy training, and those who just need a refresher. There will also be three break-out sessions specifically for Liaison Officers and Chaplain Program Coodinators.

This training and curriculum is approved and accepted by the International Conference of Police Chaplains (ICPC) as meeting their requirements for Basic and Liaison credentialing (membership in ICPC and additional CEUs are required).  Training certificates documenting contact hours will be presented to each participant only for the classes they attended.  Therefore, participants are strongly encouraged to attend all three days of the academy if they intend to seek ICPC credentials

This year, the Academy will also offer a 2-day Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) class on Stress Management for the Trauma Care Provider for those who have already completed the Basic track.

As always, we will have a group of outstanding, well-qualified instructors who will bring you the most up-to-date information and training in chaplaincy. You can also expect great fellowship and networking opportunities as well as plenty of delicious food.
